The Sonis® Comms DMC Non-Bluetooth Banded Ear Defenders are designed for seamless communication and advanced hearing protection in high-noise environments. Equipped with DMC® (Dynamic Mesh Communication) technology, these headsets create a private network for hands-free group intercom, enabling team communication across distances of up to 3km. Users can move up to 800m from another headset and stay connected, with automatic reconnection when back in range.
The headsets are intuitive to use, featuring ergonomic buttons on the earcups and compatibility with the JSP Comms mobile app and desktop configuration tool. Emergency alerts provide quick, hands-free communication with teammates. With passive attenuation offering an SNR of 34 dB (Headband) / 30 dB (Mounted), they ensure effective protection from harmful noise levels.
The built-in PTT button and radio connectivity allow for seamless integration with PMR systems, while two-way radio sharing keeps the whole team in sync. The boom microphone isolates speech for clear, hands-free communication, and can be easily muted by moving it to the upright position.
